Mahesh Lingareddy: For me the three apps I can’t live without are probably the most obvious ones, namely – my mail apps which are Outlook and Gmail, messaging apps, primarily WhatsApp/ Skype and the search engine giant – Google.
What is the one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?
Mahesh Lingareddy: The gadget which I always carry with me when I am travelling is a power bank. In an age where we are highly dependent on gadgets for our daily tasks, carrying a power bank while travelling is a must, so I keep a good supply from different brands. And of course, I can’t ever travel without my Ultrabook either.
What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?
Mahesh Lingareddy: My dream gadget would be one user interface for all my devices through which I am able to access all my data, any time, from any of the devices, regardless of whether I am at home or in my car or at office or on a flight. It’s not a gadget by itself, but a way to make all my gadgets much more useful.
How has technology changed the way in which you work?
Mahesh Lingareddy: Technology has definitely helped in increasing the productivity of work and made it more mobile however, at the same time it has made our work less secure and the lack of privacy is always a concern.
